Richer holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Universitas Andalas, Indonesia in 2015 and a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2019 awarded through a full scholarship from the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) administered by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. During his undergraduate study, Richer was actively involved in the university’s international moot court community, representing Universitas Andalas in various international moot court competitions whether as a delegate or a coach.

He joined Rosetini & Partners in 2020 and was seconded to Nishimura & Asahi, Tokyo in 2024 as part of the Firm's professional development program. Prior to joining the Firm, he gained experience as an intern at a top-tier law firm in Jakarta, worked as a junior associate at a boutique law firm in Jakarta, and served as a legal counsel for a subsidiary of a State-Owned Enterprise in the oil and gas sector.

Richer brings a distinctive blend of expertise across corporate and dispute resolution practices. He advises clients on a wide range of matters, including general corporate and commercial, foreign investment, intellectual property, dispute resolution and contentious matters. His primary clientele includes companies in the trade and manufacturing sectors, with additional exposure to technology and other industries.

Richer is a qualified Indonesian advocate and a member of Association of Attorneys and Legal Consultant of Indonesia (PPKHI), one of the advocate associations in Indonesia. He is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).

Outside of his legal career, Richer is passionate about physical training and martial arts. He actively practices karate-do, judo, and other styles of striking and grappling discipline. Deeply influenced by Japanese martial arts, he embraces the Zen philosophy of Shoshin—the beginner’s mind—characterized by openness, eagerness, and freedom from preconceptions. This mindset informs his approach to legal practice, enabling him to continuously learn, adapt, and respond to evolving challenges in the legal industry.
